THORNDIKE - Maine hunting legend Darryl Raven moved one giant step closer to matching his son's collection of shoulder-mounted white tail deer trophies on Saturday. Raven, 60, was minding his own business in a local powerline when a massive 21-point buck burst through the tree line and ran toward him. Raven fired one warning shot, but the beast paid no heed. Raven's second shot connected and the giant was felled. Raven was accompanied by Trevor, 9, of Knox, who loudly exclaimed "Did you see those horns?!"
