Last night, my oldest daughter made her second (and final!) appearance as a reindeer in Maine State Ballet's The Nutcracker. That part is supposed to be filled by the 4 and 5 year old classes, but they had a tough time getting kids to stay up that late for the 7pm show. She might not be quite old enough to be one of the Little Pages next year, but if nothing else, she should get to watch little sister have her first turn at being a reindeer.
