Big sister and mommy went to Camp Pondicherry today for their first Girl Scout function, so little sister and I took the long ride up to check the scout cam. It was a busy week, but unfortunately... all the deer traffic is at night, which isn't too helpful when it comes to hunting them. I only saw one buck that I was interested in, too.
Here's the week in review:
Sunday night, 7:58pm - nice doe
Sunday night, 7:58pm - small doe
Sunday night, 8:31pm - different doe?
Monday night, 11:21pm - not sure...
Tuesday morning, 12:42am - 6 point buck. Probably one of the ones I had seen before
Tuesday afternoon, 4:48pm - turkey
Tuesday afternoon, 4:49pm - another turkey
Tuesday afternoon, 4:49pm - yet another turkey
Wednesday morning, 7:11am - pair of turkeys
Wednesday afternoon, 4:27pm - lone turkey
Thursday morning, 2:26am - curious doe
Friday morning, 1:33am - a mystery deer. VERY tall, so I wish I could see that head...!
Friday morning, 3:56am - blurry doe
Friday morning, 5:28am - blurrier doe
Saturday morning, 1:59am - blurry doe again
Saturday morning, 2:13am - the six-pointer again (I think)
Saturday morning, 2:14am - Aha! Finally, a nice buck! Obviously, the bucks are still running together. They'll probably be split up when it gets closer to breeding season. Unfortunately, this was the best shot of the three I captured of him.
